Who we are
RIGHT RIGHT is an app for intercity carpooling and self-drive car rental in India. In this policy "we" means the business that runs RIGHT RIGHT, and "you" means anyone who uses the app or this website.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. We store the password only in a form that can't be read back.
- Phone number: the mobile number you add so the people you travel with can reach you.
- Profile photo: if you add one.
- Identity documents: photos of your driving licence and Aadhaar, if you get verified to offer rides or rent cars.
- Trips, bookings and reviews: the rides you offer or book, the cars you rent, and the reviews you write and receive.
- Reports and blocks: reports you send us and the members you block.
- Device token for notifications: an identifier for your phone so we can send you notifications.
Why we collect it
We use this information to run your account, match passengers with ride owners, handle rental requests, keep members safe by checking identity, send you notifications about your trips, and respond when something goes wrong.
We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Who can see what
- Other members see your name, photo, rating, reviews and whether you're verified.
- Your phone number and your car's number plate are shown only to people you share a booking with.
- Your identity documents are seen only by our staff, to verify you.
- Our staff can see your account and trips when they handle a report, a rental or a support request.
How long we keep it
- Identity documents: until you delete your account.
- Rejected identity documents: 30 days.
- Notifications: 180 days.
- Everything else: until you delete your account, except the records described under Deleting your account.
Payments
We don't process payments. Ride owners and passengers settle the cost between themselves, and rentals are paid in cash at pickup. We don't collect card or bank details.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change your name, photo and phone number in the app at any time. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings. You can ask us for a copy of your information or ask us to correct it by writing to us.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the app under Account, then Delete account. We delete your profile, phone number, photo, saved cars and identity documents straight away. Reviews you wrote stay, shown as by "Deleted member". How to delete your account
Children
RIGHT RIGHT is not for people under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app before the change applies.
